This movie lacked almost everything apart from some vivid cinematography and costume. I can’t say for one second that I believed a character with their performance, this is partly due to the script but I think the acting on the whole was very mediocre. The music also didn’t work most of the time, some of the music used was from the old hunger games movies which was used in small dosages and sometimes worked especially with its nostalgic presence however…

Immediately after the movie started I thought ‘god this is outdated and boring’. But I’ve got to say it really did move me in ways I could never imagine. What particularly made me feel this was the poetic nature of the demon inside Regan. Il start with the first thing the demon said that brought tears to my eyes- ‘your mother sucks cocks in hell, Karras, you faithless slime’. I mean common it doesn’t get more heart wrenching than that.…
