Maybe had too much anticipation for this one… CM immerses himself in the character well, but the timelines and constant cutting back and forth during the telling of the construction of the A-Bomb takes away from the gravity of it*. Felt to me like the hearings should’ve been covered after the bomb, I.e chronologically. Lack of time stamps didn’t help either. It isn’t clear what they’re even about until 2 hours in which makes their very presence in the precluding…
