my favorite lord of the rings film. it nails the world war allegories so well, “the forests will burn with the fires of industry.” such a terrifying line. gandalf the white is peak, treebeard is peak, and the addition of the rohan characters is absolutely perfect i love them all. gollum and faramir are amazing characters that add to this movie so much. the battle of helms deep is executed so well. and last but certainly not least, samwise gamgee…

the fellowship has like 3 or 4 of my fictional characters of all time. this movie is the perfect first movie in a trilogy. all of the introductions of the characters are so good. amazing amazing amazing.

Diner 1982
this and the film 'Breaking Away' (1979) are among the few films that make me feel like i am watching my friends and i on screen and i have so much fun. so hilarious and so relatable is certain aspects. every character is great and the dialogue is so good. the chemistry between the guys was really elevated by the director having the actors live together for a while before the movie came out. great movie and a fun time.

so so good. for the mcu. they extremely downsized it from the comics but nonetheless its so good. i am the biggest spider-man meat rider until the day that i die but if you were fully team iron man or fully team cap you were wrong. they were both wrong lets be real. obviously for different reasons but still both not fully right.
