  The one thing I got from this is the idea of greyness. Nothing is black and white. From the morality of the detectives, the motives and MO of the murderer, the identity of the murderer, heck even the film has a grey filter throughout practically the entire thing. Glad Bong gave a more nuanced take in this other than a more black and white one.
