  What a terrific movie.

  Seeing this at 3.1 average here on Letterboxd and have overall rather mediocre ratings is quite a shocker for me. The acting, how the story was unfolded, the minimalistic sound design, the visuals - and more - made me feel very immersed in the story. Only in the second half it could have been maybe 5 or 10 minutes shorter, but seriously, that's all I can say negatively about it and I can't give it less than 4 1/2 stars.

  I saw this when I was little, after having seen Rush Hour. It terrified me for months, and now that I rewatched it, that trauma came back, it's still haunting me.

  I'm not sure about Brett Ratner, whether he raped someone or not, I will eternally hate him for this.
