Devious ah music.
A really funny film. A really stupid film. A really politically on the nose film.
The Captain’s Dinner scene was by far the best part of the film. It was an incredible culmination of the first half of the film. However, it was such a massive payoff that it caused the second half of the film to peter out.
Hilarious that a film about gluttony was so bloated.
Really bad acting all throughout. Riddled with cliches and not in clever or original ways. The ending however, made my heart melt. Really impressed with how this film approaches the idea of ‘home’, both physically and emotionally. The ending doesn’t redeem the snorefest that is the first hour and a bit, but does mean that you walk away feeling very moved.
