A celebration of three generations of Spidey cinema. Everyone is phenomenal in their roles and the returning characters have their stories continued and are not just nostalgia-bait. This film could have easily been stuck in the past with all of its references and nods to older films, yet the greatest thing this film achieves is making you excited for the future of Spider-Man in film.
While funny and incredibly well-acted, with a blockbuster cast, this film seems to think it is more clever and important than it actually is. It is, at best a self-indulgent, hypocritical climate warning from the Hollywood celebs who are most to blame for the crisis they are parodying in the film.
