I know most people would have Spirited Away as their favourite Ghibli film, which is understandably so, but my number 1 Hayao Miyazaki creation is Porco Roso. While I enjoy most of studio Ghibli’s creative and fictitious stories, I enjoy Porco Roso’s more ‘realistic’ adventure of sea pilots (minus the protagonist with a pigs head).
