Paddington in Peru 2024
Okay, so I LOVE Paddington. As a kid I had this one hand-me-down illustrated childrenβs book with Paddington at the circus and I would literally βreadβ it ten times a day.
Anyway. This is the weakest entry in the Paddington franchise. Itβs not bad, not at all. The characters are still lovely, just like before. They just donβt get enough to work with. Too much focus on a dragged out plot, to little on relations and goofiness. And too little on Paddington being Paddington.

A Real Pain 2024
Sometimes I feel like the art of writing great dialogue has been lost.
This gave me new faith.Translated from by

Me and Earl and the Dying Girl 2015
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I am selfish. I am broken.
Normally, I'd write something about the Wes Andersonish cinematography and design of this movie. I'd write something about great youth actors and touching music. But this wasn't a normal experience.Death sucks. Somehow you always think you're ready, going in to a film about this topic. And usually you are. Most of us are so distanced from the reality of death. And the rest of us feel like we already know it so wellβ¦

Silvana 2017
A diverse portrait of an enormous source of pride and inspiration.
Silvana her self is so more than just a woman, a rapper, an artist, a feminist, activist, girlfriend etc. She's a person. And that's what I love with this documentary. So many beautiful sides of a beautiful person with so many real characteristics.
Also, this doc captured the most beautiful love story I have ever seen. And this is fucking real. This doc is for fucking real.
