i can’t allow myself to give this movie more than 2 stars although i wish i could. i went into this movie knowing nothing about the plot and just hoping to enjoy the cool aesthetic. i was excited but after the first racist joke and seeing the entire theater start cracking up i was so thrown off so you can imagine my horror when i first hear about the age gap…not romantic at all. so confusing and weird.
