Very middle of the road biopic, fun music and performance from Chalamet, actually saw him as Bob Dylan very believably. More of a survey of a small portion of his career, with rather by the numbers plot points. Pretty inoffensive, but not something to see a second time.

Matches the same goofy energy of the first movie, overall very campy and meant to not take seriously. The twin emperors and Denzel make this much more fun, but Dundus the monkey makes it sublime 🙏🏻
Everyone says it’s unnecessary yet will see it in the theaters anyway, but that observation is still correct. Ridley Scott is not the director he used to be, makes passable movies with style over substance.

Fun sequel alongside the first, obviously not going to have as big of an impact though. A few fun surprises here and there, the adults in the theater were laughing more than the kids. Pixar leans into more mature themes here than the more recent of their movies, hoping they learn that's why this movie is popular and successful instead of just doing another sequel.
