  A Quiet Place: Day One 2024

  POTENTIAL SPOILERS. If you are looking for a movie that explains how the “end” happened during The Quiet Place franchise, this movie isn’t it. Otherwise, solid film.  Taken from the POV of a dying poet, the film shows how NYC reacts to the sound sensitive alien takeover.  

  There were good amount of predictable jump scares which led us falling out of our seats. 

  A couple of pointless characters that I wish were developed a bit more but the character development that did take place, I was satisfied. 

  I highly recommend you take a watch!

  Atlas 2024

  This film takes you to the future of AI where AI is now the normal. The protagonist, Atlas (Jennifer Lopez), dives into her deepest insecurities and navigates trusting an AI to save her life. 

  Definitely showcases J. Lo’s acting capabilities. I highly recommend a watch.

  A good family friendly film.  Extremely relatable when it comes to the humor of teenage puberty and how anxiety can take control. Enjoyed the first one more but this sequel fits into the seasons of life of the main character.
