Although it was just as hard to watch at points, I feel as if I noticed even more details and aspects of it that I didn’t notice on my first watch. I can’t put into words just how beautiful and complex this movie is, and how gut wrenching it also is. The acting in it, and most Araki movies, make it feel like you’re watching actual people talk about real things that happened which, in this movie’s case, make it that much more upsetting.
A perfect movie, and may Michelle Trachtenberg rest in peace.
