i would write a longer review on how much i hate this movie, but it is not worth my time
Sean Baker’s Tangerine is a grimy drama following two sex workers in Santa Monica. The film starts out as an overall good time using the characters, writing, and music to give the film a fun and vibrant energy to start. The movie fits its surroundings, its mid-day in Southern California with the sun shining, but as the film progresses and the sun goes down and darkness emerges, the film itself gets more dark and unsettling.
