Thought this film started out fabulously with a stella cast however in classic Bong Joon Ho style the constant genre switching during scenes and general over sillyness lost me by it's conclusion. Mark Rufallo stole the show entirely and his trumpesc politician was hilarious. Not a bad film by any means but so much potential and it felt wasted.

Space monkeys, Colosseum sharks and a saddled up fucking rhino.
Gladiator 2 is spectacularly ridiculous and a complete blast that had me grinning from ear to ear. The original Gladiator plants the seed of rebellion which flourish in the narrative thread of its sequel. Alright the scene with the Space Monkeys is just damn right stupid but looking past that it's all great fun and everything a Gladiator sequel should be, nicely tied up in a bow was compelling performances…
