    ✅ [Exceptional]
Suffers from set-up movie structure, so at the moment I think Into the Spider-Verse is the better film. This ends right when plot developments got the most interesting so the third film can’t come soon enough. This did have better animation though.

    ❌ [Forgettable]
Super tropey with it’s copy pasted story beats and character moments. Feels like something you’ve seen a million times before.

Worth supporting in theaters if anything just to prove WB wrong. I love traditional 2D animation and this delivers. It felt like someone who grew up watching Ren & Stimpy got to make a Looney Tunes movie and it works, movie is funny for adults and theres a few jokes for younger people that aren’t cringe surprisingly.

Compare this to the Final Destination films and this is worse in every way essentially. Doesn’t fully commit to Rube Goldberg prolonged setup before the payoff of a kill. Much like a joke, skipping to the punchline doesn’t work. Even a casual audience on Discount Tuesday was yawning,

Watching this is an extremely jarring experience, the setup and costume designs are intriguing but the constant nonsense monologues and wide eyed close up screaming breakdowns get old really fast. Borderline unwatchable, the found footage/handheld shaky camera work is the cherry on top. There are cool visuals scattered throughout though.
