GoodFellas 1990
I am sorely disappointed in myself for not seeing this movie sooner. Watching the evolution of Henry, Jimmy, and Tommy throughout their life of crime was intriguing and the supporting inner dialogue/narration from Henry was interesting.
They knew how to make scenes feel frantic and erratic as well as calm when needed.
Overall this film was great and they did a good job of building up, but also villainising the protagonists to show the bad sides of the lifestyle.
Giving this one 5/5 Bodies in the trunk

Borderlands 2024
Avoid this movie like the plague.
I thoroughly enjoyed the game series and found it incredibly hard to watch them neglect an IP that I’ve come to love. Horrible writing, action scenes, lack of good comedy, miscasts and the worst version of claptrap ever have guaranteed this movies failure and led it astray from the game series.
I legitimately caught myself looking at my watch several times during the movie hoping that it would be over soon. Riding a public bus in the Arizona summer is a more enjoyable experience… save your time and your money

Alien: Romulus 2024
Alien Romulus was a great thriller with an incredible atmosphere. The claustrophobic aspects and horror really suited the series in a great way. The sound design shined in Dolby and it was easy to see the team put a lot of work into it. Their use of practical effects really shined as well. Overall was the sound and visual effects were excellent.
