Certainly lived up to its title!  Solid action flick in the vein of the Raid. There was one specific thing that happened that I loved, I won’t spoil it for the one person that might actually read this at some point.

A hair away from perfect.

What an insane cast of past, present, and future movie stars in this completely forgettable mediocre film noir. Besides the three leads we have James Garner, Giancarlo Esposito, Margo Martindale, Liev Schriber, and Reese Witherspoon who I assume was coerced into being pointlessly topless for a scene despite the fact she was playing a 17 year old. Ah the 80s. (Edit this was 1998!!??!!)

I know this is a bad movie. I think everyone involved also knew going in that this was probably, in the end, a bad movie. And while the constant “beekeeping” metaphors got borderline intolerable by the end, did I enjoy watching Jason Statham kick ass for 90 minutes while sitting on a plane?  I did. Also maybe the best performance I have ever seen from Josh Hutcherson - seems like he was born to play “Douchy Tech Bro”. It’s a mild recommendation from me. Ben would hate it.
