The Place Beyond the Pines 2012
Wow. Do we all just become our dads?? Corruption at its finest depicted beautifully. Ryan gosling heart throb. Eva Mendez could look at a piece of cheese and the cheese would fall in love.
The best thing about the film is it got me talking so much afterwards about the film. What happened to the sons at the end?
Would be an unreal drama series this imo.
Acting was fantastic, from Ray Liotta to Ben Mendelssohn. Superb. Powerful. Frustrating. Tragic…

Nothing more to say really. Somehow better than the first if that’s possible. I am in awe of Ryan Reynolds if the truth be told.
Had tears in my eyes watching this one.
Lovely to see marvel characters such as the Juggernaut in this film.
So many teaser for Hugh Jackman & im so excited for number 3.
Also this is so fun writing reviews no wonder there are so many theatre and film critics.

The phone scene when she says shes in the basement trying to fix the boiler. Heart strings were pulled. Tears on phone as typing this out.
Absolutely superb film. Comedy, drama and controversy in one film. Steve Carell as usual delivers a classic comedic role with impeccable timing but also captures a beautiful subtle journey of a man going through a divorce. Ryan gosling wow he’s gorgeous. Man’s the rizzard of oz. So many great cameos such as Kevin Bacon aka David Lindhagen what a prick!!!Great film, made for all.
