  Most successful screening I've hosted, almost a whole 20 people!

  So much more disturbing and raw than it's continued existence as a piece of decoration for 50s diners would suggest. Judy's home life is an absolute horror show, a Hayes Code edit of Fire Walk With Me. Apocalypse is always around the corner, whether it's the heat death of the universe, nuclear war (evoked by a child shooting a toy gun and gleefully shouting "the atomic age!"), or plain and simple death. Youth being eaten alive by this world, as relevant as ever.
