A very realistic portrayal of a Nazi Commander and his family in Auschwitz before WW2 comes to a head, their house being neighbors with the concentration camp that the father runs. A mother’s lavish garden is actually built right up to the wall of the ghetto. Creator wanted to show that the evil people responsible for the holocaust had their own families and at first glance “normal” lives…reminder by showing that when this genocide happened…the people responsible shouldn’t be looked…
