“If you wanted to live a nice, quiet peaceful life; you picked the wrong time to be born”
While I understand why a lot of people don’t love this Wes Anderson film, to me I think it’s his best. Most of his films have a certainty about them. This is one of his few that question the certainty of himself. It’s polished, but at the same time wondering why it is. I think it is the quintessential film of the COVID era, and communicates the feelings of the past 5 years in a way no other film does.
