It’s filmed really well the story is unique and interesting. The characters, while not the most likable, are still unique enough to keep you entertained. But for a movie called Anora we know very little about her. The film tries to preach that objectifying a woman is wrong but spends the whole first half with her naked. Which could still work if they gave her character depth; if they showed her goals and why she has them. Which this makes the ending so much less impactful.  the meaning is still there… but it just doesn’t land like I think the director intended.

No conflict was really resolved for anyone. Which is what makes the movie extremely sad. While all the sad events that happen in this movie…

Very fun and emotional captivating movie. Shot like it was filmed in the 70s. Story is a bit generic but they mix it up enough for it to be its own movie
