  It’s worth watching this film just for Toshirō Mifune’s one monologue. It’s probably the most incredible piece of acting I have ever seen, and the rest of his performance is equally as genius.

  As an actor I get very easily inspired and excited by great acting, but that monologue had me sitting on my sofa afterwards staring at the wall saying to myself ‘what the fuck am I even doing’. inspiration that has shaken me to my fuckin core. I love this shit.
