Disappointing start to the 2025 movie season.
Went into this with extremely high expectations. Didn’t watch Parasite, but after how well it was awarded, I couldn’t miss Mickey 17!
Unfortunately, I did not feel the same way walking out of the theater. While I absolutely loved the music, set, and Robert Pattinson… I left feeling unsatisfied.
The biggest problem for me was the characters. No depth to them. Poor acting. Probably the worst villain I’ve ever seen in a movie.…

A funny, family comedy that’s exactly what you expect.
Sonic and the gang have a lot more screen time this time around. Jim Carrey is definitely at his best of the trilogy in the one.
The movie itself isn’t very good, but that’s not what you signed up for by attending.
Can definitely watch if you haven’t seen the previous ones.

Wish I could’ve given this more stars, but it missed its magic for me. Maybe I went in with my expectations too high, but my biggest critique is the singing in this movie.
The leads are such FANTASTIC singers, and this is a musical that really just highlights that. So to hear the studio version of all the songs in the movie was a little lackluster for me. Take a bunch of takes and we’ll make the perfect song versus…
