  Poetic, and beautiful. Some of the greatest sets and cinematography ever and certainly defined sci-fi to come. Just wish the sex scene was a little more on the nose. Also think that the original release is few bits better than the director's cut.

  The Empire Strikes Back 1980

  It's kinda hard to place specifically why this movie is so good but maybe its just that the sum deliverable is implicitly cool. Great sets with endearing dialogue makes a film no? Maybe its that it never particularly feels mcguffin-y. That the twist is fun and not so farfetched.

  Vader does a lot of aura farming.

  The perfect action-adventure, and it is just too funny. Such perfect gags like the girl with the "love you" eyelids, Indy chasing Marion while she's being carried off in the basket and turning the corner to a field of people carrying the same baskets, or Indy shooting the dueling swordsman. The comedy ultimately sells the movie. Its why Temple of Doom sucks because that movie just isn't as funny.
