Among recent musicians biopics, this one definitely feels the most grounded.

Not really sure what to think about the fact that you don't learn a lot about Dylan's character. On the one hand, this deficiency clashes with the concept of the biopic, but on the other it does add a certain mystique to his persona, reflecting the public perception of Dylan during this era quite well.

Other than that I thoroughly enjoyed the film, Chalamet's and Barbaro's performances were fantastic! (also: using Bob Dylan's discography is basically a cheat code for a great soundtrack)

Run Lola Run fantastically exposes the gravitas of seemingly trivial everyday decisions by stringing them together into dramatically divergent storylines, reminiscent of the butterfly effect.
From an audiovisual standpoint this film is quite unlike anything I've ever seen and the plot *runs* at a breakneck pace.
My biggest complaint would probably be the soundtrack. Even though it initially does a good job of making the race against time feel as tense as it can possibly be, even small doses of techno music absoulutely grind my fucking gears.

Great hidden object picture featuring random ass animals in random ass locations, with a refreshingly absurd rom-com playing out on the sidelines.

I watched this one with my Christian roommate. As an agnostic myself, I was pleasantly surprised that neither of us sighed at the screen in annoyance. Aggressively humanizing Jesus was interesting enough of a premise for us to give it a watch, as it differs sufficiently from the original tale, which everyone and their dog already knows.
Plus, I received some interesting pieces of live commentary, consisting of biblical references and anecdotes, to truly take the immersive 4D crucifiction-simulator-experience home with me.

(Bonus points for Willem Dafoe's phenomenal acting, some great scenery and set design as well as an unforeseen David Bowie appearance)
