  Terminator Salvation 2009

  Salvation is somewhere in between pretty good and really good.
  2.6 average letterbox score, and the overall reputation is has as being one of the worst Terminator sequels, is just wrong. 

  Worst I can say is Christian Bale’s acting comes across really unlikable. Besides that, Salvation is really sincere, and takes the Terminator IP really seriously, as it should. Also, it has the best narrative world building since Terminator 2.

  What I’m more interest in is Sam Worthington. He consistently gives us nothing and became a billionaire doing it. I’m inspired.

  Alien Resurrection 1997

  I’ll never understand the hate this movie gets. The set design and effects are top 3 in the franchise, and yeah it’s unserious asf but that’s what makes it so fun. Is that a crime?

  suffers from the biggest issue of all arthouse films: it’s an arthouse film. That means god awful pacing, whole sequences made confusing by completely needless experimental camera work and portions of the plot that are just blatantly left out  to give the illusion of complex storytelling: “you need to interpret what realllly happened for yourself, maaaan”… A24 directors need to learn to just tell a fucking story and stop trying to be Vicent Van Gogh. You’re not that guy

  This movie is for white women, with wealthy parents, who:

  - Think they were born in the wrong generation.

  - Think theyre bold for wearing the occasional long skirt.

  - Have atleast once considered themselves to be a tortured poet.

  Therefore, I hate this movie
