  There is a point in this film where a character picks up an old school JP banner and uses it as a torch. An apt metaphor for this absolutely dogshit film that completely shits all over the previous films. This seriously should be studied in film school on how to fuck up a beloved franchise. Avoid at all costs. Only 2 more films to go ffs.

  If you’ve ever had the misfortune of watching Green Street and not this film I feel sorry for you. Where GS is a Hollywood imagination of English culture FF is a true reflection of English football hooliganism. The film also boast a backbone by constantly challenging the lifestyle and the usual political stereotypes. Funny but with a dark undertone, this film along with the Business are two films not to be missed

  First time watching the theatrical version in about 20 years, absolutely do watch the director’s cut if you can instead. I won’t spoil anything but it adds lots more weight to the Newt/Ripley storyline
