Eggers feels like a filmmaker tailor made for my taste in movies lol. The atmosphere and look of the film is amazing, and the performances (for the most part) are as well. Lost me a bit towards the end as there was no time to let anything breathe and it made feel detached from the story.
Had a funny thought throughout the film imagining Harvey specter from suits barging into to Orlac’s castle to negotiate him a better housing deal.
Also, Orlac really needs to stop skipping leg day.
