Mulholland Drive 2001
My favorite David Lynch film, and I loooove David Lynch. Of his several movies that play with disassociated personalities being represented by different actors and storylines, this one is the least obtuse. Naomi Watts is magnificent, and gives a hall of fame performance, and is the most spectacular piece of a spectacular film.

The Leopard Man 1943
One of the best entry movies into producer Val Lewton’s filmography. Beautiful compositions, excruciating suspense, and genuine horror. I don’t think it’s the best of his films, or my favorite, but it is excellent and it’s a wonderful introduction to Lewton and director Jacques Tournier.

Mad Max: Fury Road 2015
My favorite movie of the 21st century. It’s definitely a film I wish I could experience again for the first time. It was such a joyful experience to see that on a big screen.
