Beautiful movie, great setting and world building.
However, the pacing is off. The story need more time to be told than movies can provide. A TV show seems more appropriate.
The character development feels like whiplash, and a few instances where
the dialog was corny or giving YA novel.
Someone said "this generations lord of the rings" and that seems accurate to me
I think the sucess of Dune, Oppenheimer, Barbie, shows that people want films with big themes (critiques of religion, power, Imperialism, revolution), which I think is great
