    Toni Collette's nails made me wanna puke, which is probably what they were going for. Also the dinner scene with the Persian tapestry is what made me invested in this movie. The messaging is on the nose and super obvious, but its also over the top, which makes it cool and very funny.

    Nosferatu (2024) by Robert Eggers is a weird movie. It combines the story of the original 1922 Murnau film with a couple of elements from Coppola's ''Bram Stoker's Dracula'' and the Robert Eggers style. Nosferatu's extending shadows, for example, are lifted straight from Coppola's version of Stoker's original story. This makes for a movie that can be read like a collage of all of Dracula's cinematic history.
