A great vehicle for a fantastic Pamela Anderson performance but also a really engaging and moving film full stop. I’m genuinely starting to think I’ll enjoy anything featuring Dave Bautista.

I thought this was absolutely wonderful. The writing, performances and cinematography engaged me to such a degree I felt I was living the story among the characters for 100 minutes. I don’t agree at all that it’s ‘just another coming of age film’; on the contrary I think despite the relatively low fanfare surrounding its release this has the potential to be the coming of age film of our times. I just didn’t want it to end, and you can’t pay a bigger compliment to a film than that.

This a real disappointment because the idea has some promise and there’s some great talent in the cast. The issue is the likes of Dern, Jackman and Kirby spend the entire two hours wrangling with one of the flattest scripts I’ve ever come across.
