Harry Potter and the Deus Ex Machina
I remember fucking hating Dobby as a kid. Still do just as much now. There’s just so much from the book missing and it really hurts the film. The ending was already a bit silly in the book but it’s even more so here.
I did like how it was lowkey pretty dark at some points. Harry straight up accepted that he was mortally wounded and all he wanted to do was reassure Ginny… damn. Good acting.

Initial thoughts: I really enjoyed that. Robert Patterson has such incredible range. Cool cinematography, amazing score. Hilarious. Loved Mark Ruffalo’s Trump/Musk impression. Movie kind of shat itself in the 3rd act bringing it from a 4 to a 3.5.
