It may not be the most well-made film, but the story is so beautifully tragic. It’s even sadder when you find out that Richard Pryors life was much worse than what he shows on screen.

Un Chien Andalou 1929
One of the greatest short films made. From a technical standpoint, it’s so far ahead of its time. From the use of the non-linear storytelling, scene transitions, slow motion and even the gore and shock value, it’s unbelievable that it was made almost a 100 years ago. It’s very much like an abstract piece of art, rather than trying to understand and decode it, just absorb each scene and either appreciate or hate it.
