"It's a perfect night for mystery and horror."

Boris Karloff's portrayal as the monster seriously set the bench mark for movie monsters & their performances forever in cinema. Poor monster, this movie does a great job of making you feel sympathy for him while keeping his threat prevalent. The bride is one of my favourite character designs in all horror & cinema. It's just such a shame how little she is in the movie, it really knocks marks off the film for me sadly.

"And all it took was a bullet to the head."

Reading the reviews, as a single straight male I was apparently not gonna like this? I thought it was an enjoyable movie though & I love a good badass female protagonist. It's not trying to blow your mind or reinvent the wheel but does provide good story & entertainment.

It would have been better if marketing & movie poster didn't give so much away. Sophie Thatcher did a pretty good job with Iris & Jack Quaid can really pull of that unlikeable whiney douchebag so well.

“After all, Gale Weathers, you're such a complex character.”

I know people find Jennifer really annoying but I just think she’s funny. Enjoyed the Hollywood setting gave for great set peices.

"You will eat less than you desire and more than you deserve."

This was really enjoyable. Even though you find out fairly early on what's going to happen, I still felt really intrigued of how the plot/story would playout. Ralph Fiennes & Anya Taylor-Joy are both fantastic. The satire comedy was a nice tone & landed pretty well all in all. It surprised me how well the cinematography came across throughout this film. It's almost 1 in the morning & I have never wanted a cheeseburger so badly before, it looked so good.
