The second half is much more enjoyable than the first, and the scriptural bloat can be frustrating, but it’s still good to see Tim Burton getting back to the madcap energy and bonkers effects that he does best. If you’re already a Beetlejuice/Tim Burton fan, go have a great time. And even if you’re not, there’s still a good bit to love here.
