    I've not touched this account for a good year or two but I came back purely to talk about this one.

    This is probably the best film Ive seen over the last few years. Everything from a technical standpoint in this film is superb. It looks gorgeous, sounds great, and the soundtrack is outstanding. Cillian Murphy gives the performance of his career and the star studded supporting cast are also excellent, really feels like everyone is bringing their A-game.

    A semi decent flick. Phoenix carries the film with a fantastic performance, and manages to give emotional beats even in moments where the writing falls flat. Which leads me on to my biggest complaint: The writing was a big let down for me, the dialogue was very simplistic at times and for the most part lacked any form of subtlety.     A step down in quality from Homecoming but still a decent film overall. All of the performances were decent, Holland was great and Gyllenhaal was outstanding. I had my doubts about Mysterio going into, and even in the early parts of the film, but he ends up becoming one of the strongest villains the MCU has put out in my opinion.
