  watched this on a grossly humid Tuesday evening on TV.
  paused 3 times during the watch to receive my on-line ordered groceries, making instant coffee, and reply an email.

  
  
  

  pretentiously over-developed and unnecessarily dark (except for the exterior shots of the old Somayama which are very well framed and more generously lit). plot holes the size of mount fuji crater are unsuccessfully filled with loud classical music (probably the first time in my life that I got annoyed by Vivaldi's four seasons).
  AND the sex scenes are disappointing.
