  The current way of using strange people and odd incidents and odd behavior the core ingredients of a movie is very soon loosing the ability to amaze or show originality
  The little Siberia fails, as  the pacing is utterly insanely slow. The subplots and the vast character array failed to keep my attention.

  Alhhough the crime movie genre has since evolved a lot, these first Becks are still good:
  The scripts are usually okay, but the best thing are the characters and their relationships and human development. For this whole series Gunvald is an essential catalyst, which is sorely missed in the later Becks, since episode 37.
  I also like the 90’s feel of these early Becks. 
  The sometimes carefree days long gone.
