I really enjoyed the first one. I simply enjoyed this one. The film is as beautiful as ever, so maybe it didn't hit as hard in the sequel since I've already experienced Denis Villeneuve's breathtaking world.

This movie had the pieces to be great, but, it wasn't as good as I wanted it to be.
I do think Nicole Kidman gave a rather good performance, and Antonio Banderas gave a great performance. While Harris Dickinson looked the part, it was difficult for me to fully buy into their relationship.
The drama of what happened was the most compelling part, and it wasn't always there or executed properly.
