“…he’s the hero Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So, we’ll hunt him, because he can take it. Because he’s not our hero. He’s a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A dark knight.”
What a perfect film…

The Positives:
•J. K. Simmons gives a career best performance as Fletcher. He plays the character to perfection, and you never know what his true motivations until the last scene.
•Miles Teller also does an incredible job. His drumming skills are amazing, and his acting is great. His arc is very compelling and well executed.
•The cinematography is fantastic. There are so many amazing shots, especially in the end. The whip pan scene and the insert shots of the drums…
Honestly, nowhere near as bad as everyone’s been making it out to be. It is a completely serviceable film. Granted, the budget was way too high to just be serviceable, but still this is not a bad film. The visual effects are really great, a good bit (not all) of the jokes had me laughing, Chris Pratt and Anthony Mackie’s characters were pretty fun, the third act was really cool, and the cinematography was pretty good. The film is dragged…
Give Chris Hemsworth the Oscar. One of the best performances of the year.
