The Nice Guys 2016
Watched this one a few weeks ago.Was my first time seeing Russell Crowe in the movie and I loved it. His dynamic with Ryan Gosling was hella funny. The movie had a few slower moments but overall I thought it was a really good watch. Also the daughter in this movie is funny asf. She carries some scenes.

This movie dead ass captures how it was like in the 2000s to be in middle school/highschool. Also how little problems can be perceived as huge ones when you’re that young. Lowkey also makes you appreciate your mom a little more than before watching it. Overall love this one very relatable.

Upon watching it a hand full of times in recent years this movie can be a little slow burn at times. Some bits drag on and the whole movie is a bit oversaturated with 2000’s spy kids cgi. BUT. Underneath all of that is a fucking great movie that holds up today. Story is fantastic in my top 10 fr fr. Glad they never made a sequel to this one. Rex racer lives baby. That final Grand Prix scene give me a cinematic high I’ve never experienced in another movie.
