I’m a big fan of Charlie Day, especially in Its Always Sunny. However I found his directorial debut to be lacking to be honest. If I understand it correctly it is a critique on the facetious nature of the film industry and how incompetent a lot of the people working within the industry are. This is communicated effectively but the movie overall just lacked quality. The editing was confusing at times, the set design and aesthetics of the movie desperately…
