  A quintessentially good time. Nothing groundbreaking, but it’s definitely fun to see what Ryan Reynolds can do with with Deadpool and a larger budget. Creative, stupid, with just a little bit of heart, it’s Deadpool. This movie being a eulogy for the 20th century era of superheroes was its most interesting aspect. Really makes you remember why exactly Marvel stood out originally.
