Visually insanely stunning - loved the Basquiat art themes, amongst others.
Plot wasnt fab though - felt more like a set up for the next film and was slow and vv predictable at times (which is a shame bc i rly rated the first for not being either).
Tbf - I watched it in the Peckhamplex and the lights were on for most of the film so
I greatly enjoyed this thank you Darren.
Its very hard to know how to describe this film in words tbh.
The music “requiem for a tower” particularly did absolute bits for this movie.
That said, the whole moving fridge thing was very reminiscent of dont hug me im scared.
Incredible acting, amazing lighting in the shots and I loved the split scene perspective shots particularly. Its exceptional- for a film that makes you want to crawl into a cave somewhere away from humanity and never interact with anyone again.
Also felt strangely Orwellian at points?
Watched this a while ago but cant resist writing a letterboxd about the ......
... bonk.
Hahahahahahahaha oops on the brothers behalf huh.
I asked miranda why the brother didnt just ask if she was ok and she honestly looked at me as though I was an idiot, which it turns out I am.
