    Mickey 17 is a snarky sci-fi blast that combines a lot of what works from Snowpiercer and Parasite (though theres no comparing anything to Parasite, if we’re being honest). 

    Pattinson’s phenomenal dual weirdness pulls this along at a pretty great pace and Ackie, Ruffalo, and Colette all deliver excellent supporting roles. 

    This really worked for me, it’s funny, it’s well edited, and I feel happy we get to see Bong Joon-Ho keep making movies the way only he could.

    Paddington in Peru is another delightful entry that unfortunately has the critical flaw of having to follow the absolutely perfect Paddington 2. All the familiar beats are there, the charm is intact, I’ll still die for Paddington, but the story is a little clunky and too fast paced. It just can’t quite rise to meet the other two, though it’s still a fun one.
