  Captain America: Brave New World 2025

  Unfortunately any movie made nowadays whose plot centers around the mental stability of the president is gonna be completely uninteresting to me. Ironically, Harrison Ford’s performance was the only semblance of heart I could capture. The rest felt like content sludge meant for nothing more than to make money for Marvel.

  Fortunately I saw myself in the movie so that was nice.

  And I couldn’t stop laughing throughout the hulk fight scene because Harrison Ford playing a Hulk is irrationally hilarious to me.

  Authority should derive from the consent of the governed, not from the threat of force. Lotso built a pyramid off the backs of other toys and put himself on top to continue keeping them down, much like the leaders in the current class system in America.

  I wonder how difficult it is for the Na’vi to think of their biology as scientific rather than spiritual. After the destruction of hometree, I was almost surprised nobody had enough suspicion at the idea that they were being led by a specimen that was literally designed (using their biology) to manipulate them to bear a permanent mistrust of Jake, but then I acknowledge how little they have by that point.
