The golems don't look 100% and effects are a bit low budget, but this is a very creative fantasy movie focussing on business, innovation, and service.
I'm not a capitalist by any means, but something about seeing it in action can be very thrilling. Seeing the process carried out by a former conman who can see opportunities in setbacks feels very fitting.

Really loved the line "The aim of business is not to provide a good service, but to provide the only service".

Note that this is 180m because it's a two part TV movie

For some people Marvel went downhill earlier, but this was the movie I definitely saw it coming apart.

Yet another movie about "trauma", that also wants to be a revenge fantasy about Harvey Weinstein, while also still having to be a Marvel movie which destabilises the other two parts.
What also makes the above attempt unsettling is that the movie constantly trades on cold war stereotypes and anti-communism. This means the whole global control angle is a little like antisemitic…

Read my review of part 1 here.

The Decline series doesn't solely focus on the punk scene and diverges in part 2 to focus on heavy metal, specifically what is often called hair/glam metal.

It's very interesting seeing guys with extremely long hair, makeup and almost cross-dressing simultaneously behave aggressively masculine (and at times they are very sexist).

This part is very very 80s and this is through not just in the fashion and music, but also the social attitudes…

Awful trash I saw out of the corner of my eye, the Roger Ebert review is worth reading though www.rogerebert.com/reviews/step-brothers-2008
